Starting in 1843, thousands of Americans would begin a journey west looking for land, opportunity, and better futures for themselves and their families. The journey west towards the “Oregon Territory” would be long and difficult, with many of these pioneers having to face challenges such as lack of food, clean drinking water, and disease. Our story follows the point of view of a guitar player who went on the journey himself and is now reminiscing about his journey to us through the narration.
